ROSE L. DUBE (PATENAUDE)

Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryROSE L. DUBE (nee PATENAUDE) Peacefully on June 29, 2005, Rose Dube passed away at her home at the age of 77. Rose was born in Perigord, SK on July 3, 1927. After her marriage to Gabriel in 1944, she moved to The Pas where she worked at St. Anthony's Hospital. She and Gabriel moved to Selkirk and she was employed by Manitoba Hospital Organization in Winnipeg and later Stonewall and District Health Centre. Rose spent her last years in Winnipeg at Fred Douglas Place. Rose was predeceased by her parents, Jeremie and Adelaide Patenaude; her husband Gabriel; daughter-in-law Trudy; grandson Robert Bigelow and her brothers, Alphonse and Phillip. She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her son Alphonse, daughters, Yolande Bigelow (Elmer), Pauline Hawes (Jim), Helene Pitura (Carl), Denise Rourke (Brian) and Annette Neskar (Mark); 23 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters, Lina Pacquin, Margaret Dier and Laurette Patenaude; as well as many nieces and nephews. Mom was always there for her children and grandchildren. Our memories of our time with her will be cherished forever. Cremation has taken place and funeral services will be held Monday, July 4 at St. Theresa's Catholic Church, 3597 Main St. with Rev. Msgr. Louis McCloskey and Rev. Fr. Art Seaman presiding. A reception will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of your choice.
