Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWOLDYMIR (MORRIS) PODOLSKY March 14, 1926 - July 1, 2005 It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Morris on July 1, 2005 with his family by his side at the Pinawa Hospital after a long and courageous battle with cancer at the age of 79. He will be sadly missed by his beloved wife Phyllis, son Cameron (Lorraine), Brent (Shannon, Nolan, Teagan), Neil (Kim), Laurie, Todd. Nephew Gary and Kathy Buhay (Kim, Chad), grandchildren, Tiffany (Rowan), Corey, Doyle, Brittany and great-grandson Emmitt. Also by sisters, Margaret and Anne, brother-in-law Raymond Buhay and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Harry and Pauline; brothers, Mike, Pete, Eugene, Jarvis; and by sisters, Mary, Nellie and Stella as well as father and mother-in-law Mike and Stella Buhay and brother-in-law Lawrence Buhay. Morris was born in Vita, MB on March 14, 1926. He moved to Lac du Bonnet in 1952. He met and married his wife Phyllis of 49 years. Morris worked for Augustine Brothers as a Taxi driver, he later became self employed as a trucker, he also spent many years as an arena caretaker in the winter months and spent the summer as a farmer. He was a devoted husband and loving father. The family would like to express their deepest appreciation and heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Petkau, the nurses and staff at the Pinawa Hospital. Cheryl Smith and the Lac du Bonnet Home Care. Dr. David Shojania and Nurses at the St. Boniface Cancer Care Centre for their and compassion. In compliance with his wishes cremation has taken place and a private family gathering will take place at the Brightstone Cemetery. Thank you Dad for all your generous ways.
