PATRICE BRUCE Peacefully, with his family by his side, Pat Bruce passed away at the St. Boniface Hospital on Friday, July 1, 2005 at the age of 85 years. Pat leaves to mourn his passing Nettie, his loving wife of 23 years, his seven stepchildren, Carole (Rheal) Dupuis, Reg (Rena) Rear, Bill Rear, Lorne Rear, Tammy (John) Levandoski, Pamela (Paul Diffey) Schaitel, Gary (Monique) Rear; grandchildren, Phil, Kim, Jodie, Matthew, Tara, Myles, Lindsay, Jennifer, Meredith, and Joshua; great-grandchildren, Deion, Haylee, Leo and Lucas; his brothers, Adrian, Leo (Louise), Claude (Elizabeth); sisters, Annette (Andrew) Carriere, Antoinette Vouriot, Edmie (Al) Comstock and sister-in-law Wilmet Bruce. He will be missed with sadness by his nieces and nephews and remembered by all for his strength, love, kindness, compassion and sense of humour. He was predeceased by his parents, Eugene and Clarina (Hogue) Bruce; his brothers, Azarie, Joseph, Gustave, Emil, Alec, Albini and Marcel; sisters, Marie, Bertha and Eugenie. Nettie's family would like to give special thanks to Leo, Louise and Regan as well as Bruce and Marianne for helping their Mom through this most difficult time. We would also like to thank the nursing staff at the Palliative Care unit at the St. Boniface Hospital. Funeral mass will be celebrated by Fr. Rene Peeters at the St. Emile Roman Catholic Church, 556 St. Anne's Rd. in St. Vital on Tuesday, July 5 at 2:00 p.m. Interment of Pat's cremated remains will take place in St. Boniface Cemetery, Archibald Street following the mass. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Pat's memory to CancerCare Manitoba Foundation, ON109-675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9. LECLAIRE BROTHERS in care of arrangements. 775-2220
