ADAM LEWIS STRANGER October 24, 1985 - July 3, 2005 It is with deep sadness the family announces the passing of Adam Stranger of Peguis First Nation on Sunday, July 3, 2005 at the age of 19 years. Adam was born in Arborg, MB on October 24, 1985 and resided in Peguis, MB. Adam is survived by his loving parents, Beverly and Robert Stranger; his sister Melanie; special cousin Lindsey Bear and by his special friend Angel Stevenson. He is also survived by his grandparents, Nellie and Earl Stranger; his aunts and uncles, Doreen (Bill) Beauchamp, Beverly A. Stranger, Wayne Stranger, Darrell Stranger, godparents, Barry (Freda) Bear, Phyllis (Robert) Blue, Lawrence Bear, Bertha (John) Gleich, Leonard Bear, Oliver (Sharon) Bear, Diane Bear, Edgar (Velma) Bear and Gloria Bear, as well as numerous great-aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends. Adam was predeceased by his grandparents, Archie and Agnes Bear; his uncle Andrew Bear; his aunt Mary Bear; his great-grandparents, Soloman and Annabella Stranger, Dave and Virginia Sinclair; as well as numerous aunts and uncles. Adam loved the company of family and friends. He was very caring and always offered a helping hand. Adam had a great sense of humour and enjoyed good times and laughing with friends. He graduated from Peguis Central School in 2003 and loved to play golf, especially with his cousins Dale and Darren. He loved hockey and was a defencemen for the Peguis Jr. B's, he will be missed by many of his teammates and fans. Adam also enjoyed hunting and fishing with his Dad and fishing pals, especially on their yearly trips to Northern Manitoba. A wake service will be held on Wednesday, July 6 at 8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 7 at 2:00 p.m., with a viewing beginning at 1:00 p.m. Both services will be held at the St. Matthew's Anglican Church, Rev. Wesley Barrett and Rev. Barry Bear officiating. Interment will follow at the St. Matthew's Anglican Cemetery. The family would like to extend their thanks to the Fisher Branch R.C.M.P., Fisher Ambulance, Percy E. Moore Hospital, Peguis Band and to all who came to show their support.
