Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHARVEY JAMES JOHNSON It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Harvey on July 4, 2005 at the age of 76. He was born at his family home on Ingersoll Street in Winnipeg on July 11, 1928. He was predeceased by his parents, Eggert, Gudfinna; and siblings, Emily, Thorunn, Sigga, Fjola, Laura, Oli, Lil, Fred, and Marvin. Harvey is lovingly remembered by his wife of 53 years, Audrey (nee Bowley) and his three children, Cindy (Jim Green), Jim (Leslie) and Lorie (Brandi Wermie); and his eight grandchildren, Jody (Ian Wood), Alison, Jennifer and Lindsay Green, David and Ian Johnson, Britley and Alexa Wermie; and his sisters, Sigrun (Bubbles) and Sylvia, and many nieces and nephews. He attended school at Principal Sparling and Daniel McIntyre and attained his C.A. designation in 1953 and recently celebrated 50 years as a Chartered Accountant. He became a partner in 1958 with KPMG. He worked in the Winnipeg, Regina and London, Ontario offices. Harvey was a lifelong active member of First Lutheran Church. He also enjoyed his many friendships at the Niakwa Golf and Country Club, the Granite Curling Club and the Reh-Fit Centre. He enjoyed every summer with family and friends in Gimli. After his retirement in 1990, he and Audrey enjoyed many holidays in Palm Springs and travelling with close friends in Europe and North America. The family wishes to thank all the doctors and nurses who cared for Harvey. Harvey loved and was loved by everyone around him and will be greatly missed. A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held on Friday, July 8 at 11:00 a.m. at First Lutheran Church, 580 Victor St. Interment to follow at Brookside Cemetery. Donations may be made in Harvey's memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, CancerCare Manitoba, or First Lutheran Church. Goda Nott, Afi The Coutu family in care of arrangements: E.J.
