PETER MARCINIUK On Wednesday, July 6, 2005 at the Arborg Personal Care Home, Peter Marciniuk passed away peacefully with his family by his side. Peter was predeceased by his parents, Jan and Palagi; brothers, Frank, Adam, Nick and Adolf; and one sister Elizabeth Dubyts. He is survived by his brothers, Philip (Ella), Joe; and one sister Helen Ponevas; and numerous nieces and nephews and their families. Peter was born on May 30, 1915 at the homestead at Okno, MB. He lived in Arborg most of his life. He worked out for a few years but did upholstery with his brother Nick who he lived with. He resided at the Arborg Personal Care Home from September 1999 until now. Peter was one of Jehovah's witnesses most of his life. He had hope in the resurrection and took comfort in the Bible promise in Revelation ch.21 - 3, 4 With that I heard a loud voice from the throne say Look the tent of God is with mankind and he will reside with them and they will be his peoples. And God himself will be with them. And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes and death will be no more neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away. The family would like to thank the Arborg Personal Care Home staff for their kindness and care during his stay there. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 9, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness on 279 St. Philip Dr., Arborg, MB. Viewing will be held before the service. Tom Read will officiate, interment will follow at Okno Cemetery. If friends so desire, memorial donations may be made to the Arborg Personal Care Home, Arborg, MB. Arborg (MacKenzie) Funeral Home in care of arrangements.
