LORRAINE CAROLINE MCTAGGART (nee TAILLIEU) Peacefully on July 6, 2005 Lorraine passed away at the Grace Hospital at the age of 68. She was predeceased by her parents, Edmond and Maria Taillieu; siblings, Alice, Angela, George, Godelieve, Margaret and Irene and her girls' father Edward McTaggart. Her memory will be cherished by her children and grandchildren, daughters, Barbara Harvey (Marcel) and their children, Anthony and Jonathan; Tracy Routley and her children, Ashley, Tammy and Jamie and their father Paul; Dawn-Lynn (Keith Lillies); siblings, Marcel, Godfrey and Mary Bannatyne; as well as extended family and friends. Mom was born and raised on a farm in Charleswood, the youngest of ten children. She moved with her family off the farm in grade nine to attend Chapman High School. After high school she attended Success Business College to train as a secretary. She worked at Crown Life and made many friends. She was married to Ed in 1962 and she began her career as a mother having three daughters. She was a hard working, dedicated, selfless wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed visiting with family and friends, and travelling throughout North America. She especially enjoyed spending time at Clear Lake with family. The family wishes to thank the staff of West Park Manor, Deer Lodge and Grace Hospital for all their kindness and care. A memorial service will be held on Saturday July 9 at 12:30 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. Interment and reception will follow. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Manitoba Lung Association, 629 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3A 1P6.
