RICHARD (THUMPER) STOYANOWICH It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Richard (Rick, Thumper) Stoyanowich at the age of 56 on March 10, 2005 after a lengthy battle with diabetes. Rick was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Margaret. Rick will be lovingly remembered by his children, Darlene Martin (Jason) and newborn grandson Billy, and Shayne Taylor; and by his very best friend who has always been there for him Maureen Robins and her family, Kevin, Michelle, Kaitlyn and Carly Schenk; and by his brother Joe and family. He will also be missed by his many friends and relatives throughout Canada and the United States. Rick grew up in Winnipeg and as an adult travelled extensively while working as an electrician with IBEW 2085. He always returned home to care for his parents, especially his mother after his father passed away. He loved the Yukon and had hoped to return there someday. Though Rick was away much of the year he always took the time to remember special occasions for his friends and family. Thank you Rick (Dad) for the stories, your great sense of humour and all the wonderful memories. (As well as the BBQ Banana Recipe). We love you and will miss you. Thanks for letting us share your life. Cremation has taken place, and since Rick was our Cowboy we did not let him leave without his hat! A memorial service will be held at a later date. Those wishing to may make a donation to the Diabetes Foundation in Rick's name.
