T. S. B. HUTCHINSON PETE Thomas was born June 11, 1921 in Sturgeon Creek, son of Tom and Pauline, brother of Hubert. Thomas became Pete a name he picked early in life that stayed with him his whole life. Pete will be sadly missed by niece Dorothy McIntyre (friend Fred), Brent, Bryan; nephews, Bill (Karen), Jeff, Danny, Scott; Bob (Shirley), Ryan; Jim (Norma), Amanda, Kali. Pete was employed by CNR for over 35 years, working in Dauphin, Gilbert Plains and many other towns in Manitoba, ending his career in Winnipeg in 1984. In retirement he loved to garden and loved looking after his dogs. Pete was a member of St. Paul the Apostle R.C. Church. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus Dauphin for over 50 years. The family would like to thank the staff at Charleswood Care Centre and Grace Hospital for their care of Pete. Funeral service will be held on Monday, July 11, at 10:00 a.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. Interment will follow in Assumption Cemetery. Flowers are gratefully declined. Donations may be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society, 5 Kent St., Winnipeg, MB R2L 1X3.
