ANNIE ISABELLA WILSON Peacefully on Friday, July 1, 2005 at Donwood Personal Care Home, Anne Wilson passed away at the age of 88 years. Anne was born in Sperling, MB on June 8, 1917. She moved with her family to Winnipeg in 1938 where she resided until her passing. Anne was predeceased by her parents, William and Margaret Wilson; brothers, Stanley and Alvin; and her sister Edna. Left to cherish her memory is her brother David (Viola) of Winnipeg and her beloved nieces and nephews to whom she was a very special Auntie. Anne was employed by the Manitoba Telephone System for nearly 40 years prior to her retirement in 1977. Her retirement included many trips with friends to many parts of the world as well as volunteer work with the Telephone Pioneers. Her family wishes to express their deep appreciation to the staff of Donwood Personal Care Home and Donwood Manor for their loving care for Anne over the past eight years. Cremation has already taken place. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, July 12 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Voyage Funeral Home, 220 Hespeler Ave. Rev. Bruce Logan and Rev. Gary Wilson, Anne's nephew, will officiate. In lieu of flowers, if friends so wish, donations may be made in Anne's memory to Donwood Personal Care Home, 171 Donwood Dr., Winnipeg, MB R2G 0V9.
