IRENE PEARL MCKEOWN It is with deep sadness that our family announces the passing our dear mother and grandmother Irene McKeown on July 7, 2005. She was predeceased by her husband Edgar and son-in-law Alan and special friend Cec. Irene will be forever remembered and missed by her children, Shannon, Patti (Byron), Michael (Donna); grandchildren, Shawn (Greg), Dawn (Steve), Robert (Zarah), Anne-Marie, James (Shawna), Derek and Sabrina; great-grandchildren, Alanna, Jesse, Caitlin, Kyle, Sammy and Mohammed. Our mother was born on October 13, 1922 in West Kildonan. She grew up and remained in the area her entire life. Mom was an amazing woman, strong and determined despite her illness. Mom touched many people's heart with her drive for life and sense of humour. She enjoyed visiting at the Legion and meeting her friends and also enjoyed playing the VLT's when her health and eyesight was better. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her. The family wishes to thank the doctors and nurses at Seven Oaks Hospital for their care and compassion in making Mom's last days comfortable. In accordance with Mom's wishes, cremation will take place. A Celebration of her Life will be held a later date with family and friends. WE LOVE YOU MOM AND GRANDMA. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
