ALICE FLORENCE CECILIA HARMAN (nee BELL) 1925 - 2005 It is with deep sadness that the family announces the passing of Alice Harman on Friday, July 8, 2005 at the Concordia Hospital at the age of 79 years. Alice will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her devoted husband Ernie of 59 years; her children, Lynn (Ed) Slyker and Lori (Rob) McInroy; two grandchildren, Lee-Anne and Ashley. She will also be lovingly remembered by her sister Edna Fotheringham, brother Bob (Betty) Bell, brother-in-law Harold Harman; sister-in-law Mary Harman and many friends and relatives. Alice enjoyed many wonderful years in her retirement at Lac du Bonnet and winter months in Phoenix. She enjoyed cooking; her Blueberry Cheese Cake was always a request! Alice enjoyed knitting, playing Monday night cards and lawn bowling, with her friends from her block. She also enjoyed her friends at the Saturday afternoon meat draw in the Transcona Legion. Cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held. At Alice's request, friends and relatives are invited to a reception on Wednesday, July 13 at 2:30 p.m. in Klassen Funeral Home. We as a family would like to thank everyone at Concordia Hospital for their support and kindness during this difficult time. Also a big thank you to Lynn Poitras for all of her kindness, care and support.
