WAYNE PETER SOLILAK 1950 - 2005 With sadness, the family announces the passing of Wayne Peter Solilak on Saturday, July 9, 2005, after a lengthy illness. He leaves to mourn his passing his two sons, Jeffery Michael and Gary Jordan (Erin) and their mother Janice Solilak; his sister Karen Kraemer; his wife Pat Scott and her children David (Bonnie) and Heather; and grandchildren Grayson and Piper. Wayne was predeceased by his father Peter in 1989 and his mother Sarah in 1990. Wayne was born in Winnipeg on January 19, 1950 and grew up on William Avenue in Weston. He graduated from Tec Voc High School, and worked at Westeel for 31 years until ill health forced him to retire in 2001. The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses in CCU at the Health Sciences Centre for their wonderful care. Also, a belated thank you goes to the amazing heart transplant staff of the University Hospital in London, ON. As well, a special thank you to Pam and Dennis Boboski for your friendship and support these past years. Cremation has taken place and a graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 14 at 2:30 p.m. at Brookside Cemetery, 3001 Notre Dame Ave. We will be meeting inside the first gate. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Manitoba Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the Canadian Diabetes Association. Rest in peace, Dad. Cropo Funeral Chapel (204) 586-8044
