Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryVALERE NARCISE JOSEPH BROCHU OF WOODLANDS, MB January 22, 1933 - July 6, 2005 After a courageous battle with cancer, it is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Valere Brochu on Wednesday, July 6, 2005 at the Stonewall Hospital, at the age of 72 years. He was predeceased by his parents, Arthur Brochu (deceased February 1958), Marie Louise (deceased April 1991). Valere will be greatly missed by his loving wife Darlene and five children and spouses, Valerie (Chris), Vincent, Kyle (Debbie), Lyle (Kathy), Linda (Eddie). Valere has 12 grandchildren that will greatly miss him. Valere will also be missed by his brothers and sisters, Bernadete Ballard (Loyal deceased 2001), Maria Quail deceased 2003, (William deceased 2001), Joseph, Jermie (Philomene), Emile (Hanna), Bertha Heintz (Frank), Alphonse (Georgina). Aunt Marguerite Boucher and many nieces and nephew. Brochu family is holding a gathering at 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 13 in honour of Valere Brochu. It will be held at the Brochu's residence in Woodlands, MB.

Dear Aunt Darlene and family. I am so sorry about Uncle Valare, although I am glad he is not suffering anymore. I am also sorry that I could not be there with you all. When Mom and Dad came home we talked about Uncle Valare. It was good to talk about him. I am very sad, I loved him very much. He was well respected by me and I have always felt he did not treat me differently even though I was not of real Brochu blood, like some family members.
