Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLIONEL JOHN BROWN It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Lionel Brown at the Grace Hospital on Monday, July 11, 2005 at the age of 71 years. He was born in McConnell, MB, May 20, 1934 to Carl and Ella Brown. Lionel loved nature and the outdoors. He walked everywhere, in every season. He was an avid baseball fan and played for the McConnell team from 1949 to 1954. The team was inducted into the Manitoba Baseball Hall of Fame, June 10, 2000. Lionel was predeceased by his parents; his brothers, Garry and Nelson; and his sister Audrey. He is survived by his sisters, Shirley and Marge and his nieces and nephews. His family wish to thank the kind and caring staffs at the St. Boniface Hospital and Deer Lodge Centre. A graveside committal service will be held at Brookside Cemetery, 3001 Notre Dame Ave. on Thursday, July 14 at 1:00 p.m. LECLAIRE BROTHERS in care of arrangements. 775-2220.
