She was predeceased by her parents, Einar and Flora Nordal and her brother John. Margo was born November 6, 1939 and was raised in the Lundar area. She later moved to Winnipeg to work and also worked briefly in British Columbia. After their wedding, she and Dan moved to British Columbia in 1962 and Donna and Kevin were born in Powell River. In September of 1965 they returned to Manitoba to begin their adventure and challenge of farming in the Interlake. Their family grew with the arrival of Steven and Tracy. Margo worked endlessly, side by side with Dan, taking great pride and joy in their farm and their family. In later years, she loved her board games and Bingo. She and Dan danced many miles together. Margo loved all children, but her greatest joy came with the arrival of her precious grandchildren. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of her life will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 16 at the Eriksdale Recreational Centre with Pastor Bill Watson leading the service. Interment to follow in the Scotch Bay Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the CancerCare Manitoba Foundation Inc., Room ON1160, 675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9. The family would like to thank our friends and family members for all of your support. Special thanks to Dr. Steyn and staff of the E.M. Crowe Memorial Hospital. She was not only a great and loving grandmother, but her devotion to this family was all that kept our family together. Now that she is gone it feels like our whole family has fallen apart. - Posted by: Rebecca Brassor (grand daughter) on: Oct 18, 2012
