Dad's birthday today and I thought of you. Uncle Ron is taking him out for lunch and I'm going by after work for pizza with Spud, Kathy (his girlfriend) and Baxter (my dog). You'd like them. Kathy is great, she keeps Spud in line and my pup is great, he keeps me in line. Dad retired last year and this will be his first birthday since, he seems to enjoy his freedom so far and would you believe he is going to the Bahamas in a couple of weeks? I'm staying in their house, kiss the bacon goodbye. Dakota had to be put down last year, he got sick and could only eat popsicles but it was nice that he got to meet my puppy before he passed. If you remember my friends Shane and Kyle (Cupcake and Dainty), Kyle got married last year and I held his bachelor party at my house On July 11. We took a moment and each did a depth chart in your honor as it was 10 years to the day you passed. Thought I would fill you in on some of the happenings in the last couple years and let you know everyone is doing good. I'm not a religious man but I want you to know I feel you in my heart every day and I miss you a lot. Grandma too. Love you - Posted by: Tyler (grandson) on: Feb 03, 2016

9 years this coming July. Can't believe you and grandma are gone. I think of you every day and I think how lucky I was to get the time I did with you, some people never get to meet their family. But you raised an amazing son in Brian and he's the best father I could ask for. He will be 60 in a month today, you'd be so proud of him. He's finally gonna retire soon. Spud and I are all moved out on our own and Mom is good. I don't visit you and grandma much, I should really do that more. Maybe that will be my new years resolution. Miss you and love you always. See you on the other side, have a depth-charge ready for me when I arrive. Until we meet again............ - Posted by: Tyler Baxter (grandson) on: Jan 03, 2014
