UNNUR OLAF SNEDDON Peacefully, with her dear friend Rita at her side, Unnur, widow of Jim Sneddon, passed away on July 11, 2005 at Deer Lodge Centre at the age of 83 years. Ener leaves to mourn her passing her daughter Jo-Anne (Rob) and her son David (Joan); and two grandchildren, Kristi and James (Elga). She also leaves her angels , nieces, Laurie Rous (Bert), Kerry Mushumanski (Bill) and Judi Steele (Phil); and her youngest sister Edda (Ken Lee); sister-in-law Joan; plus numerous in-laws, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband of 55 years, Jim in 1996; and by her sisters, Barb, Runa, Alda and Mae, and her brothers, Bob and Leonard. For Mum, it was all about family. The heart of the Saedal clan, everyone was welcome at Auntie Ener's . She always had a positive outlook and was a true listener. No wonder everyone had a soft spot for Mum. A true Icelander through and through, she was proud of her heritage, maintained that pride all her life and was so happy to have made the trip to Iceland with Jim. Her happiest memories were the travels that she and Dad took after Dad retired. And she was a true Grandma to her grandkids and mentor to her nephew Derrick. Goda Nott A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, July 15 at Neil Bardal, 984 Portage Ave. The family's thanks go out to all the staff at 3 South in Deer Lodge Centre.
