DAVID RONALD NORMAND
Date of Passing: Jul 10, 2005
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDAVID RONALD NORMAND On Sunday, July 10, 2005, after a courageous battle with cancer, at the Concordia Hospital, David, with his family by his side, went to heaven on the wings of an angel, at the age of 58 years. He is survived by his wife Judy, of 37 years; son, Ron (Elaine); daughter Susan (Jay); grandchildren, Richard, Judy and Sara; brothers, Clifford and Gerry; and sisters, Doris, Lucile and Arlene. Dave was a quiet family man, who in life, enjoyed all sports, including hockey, which he coached when his son was young, five pin bowling and of course, his love for bingo. For 33 years, Dave was employed at Stella Produce and for 15 years he also worked part-time for Gardewine North. Five years prior to his illness, he was a full time employee. In keeping with Dave's wishes, no formal funeral service will be held. Our family wishes to extend special thanks to the 3rd floor staff at the Concordia Hospital and also to Dr. Kuegle for his care and compassion for Dave and his family. In lieu of flowers, donations in Dave's memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 193 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 2B7. WOJCIK'S ALL BELIEFS FAITHS FUNERAL CHAPEL CREMATORIUM 897 - 4665

I only just met Uncle David two days before he passed away but my heart goes out to his wife and family. I was grateful that I met him and had the pleasure of a short conversation. - Posted by: Sharon Friess (Family) on: Jul 19, 2005
