IRENE MARY MOIR (nee BEATTIE) Peacefully, following a lengthy illness, it is with sadness that we announce the death of Irene Moir on July 9, 2005 at the Holy Family Nursing Home at the age of 80 years. Irene will be sadly missed by daughter Laraine (Robin) Arnold and son Alan Moir; grandchildren, Candice and Crystal Arnold and many friends. She was predeceased by her husband James Lyon Moir on December 24, 1999. A celebration of Irene's life will be held on Monday, July 18 at 2:00 p.m. in John Black Memorial United Church, 898 Henderson Hwy., East Kildonan with Rev. Maureen Thomas officiating. A reception will follow the service at the church. We would like to thank the staff at Misericordia Health Centre and Holy Family Nursing Home for their care and compassion. Irene loved and was loved. If friends so desire, donations may be made to Alzheimer Manitoba, 120 Donald St., R3C 4G2, or to a charity of one's choice.
