JENNIFER HEBEL On Wednesday, July 13, 2005 at the Carman Memorial Hospital, Jennifer peacefully left our world after a courageous battle with cancer. Jen will be loved, cherished, and deeply missed but forever remembered by her husband and best friend John; sons, Brandon and Carson; daughter Sara; mother Evelyn; sisters, Christine and Joanne; and immediate in-law family members. Jennifer was born in Winnipeg on Friday, June 13, 1969 to Evelyn and Mike Tymchak, completing the trio of sisters with Joanne and Christine. Upon graduation from Elmwood High School in the summer of 1987, Jen enrolled at the University of Winnipeg to pursue a career in the sciences. But these pursuits were soon changed when, in that same summer, Jen met the man of her dreams, John Hebel. There were soon many long distance phone calls as John left to enter the R.C.M.P. in Regina. Jen and John were married on June 2, 1990 in Winnipeg and returned to his posting in Vancouver. Two years later they were joined by their first son Brandon. Three years later at John's next posting, they were joined by their daughter Sara. In order to complete a trio of her own, their second son, Carson followed. All these moves over the years resulted in numerous friendships around the country that Jen cherished. Jen touched many lives with her warm and outgoing nature, which was returned by the outpouring of love and support for both Jen and her family during her illness. Jen's family wishes to extend their sincerest thanks to the health care professionals at the Carman Memorial Hospital for taking such good care of her. Thanks also to the community of Carman and area for taking our family into their hearts and showing love and support through this trying time. Special thanks to the parents and coaches of Sara's and Carson's hockey teams, staff at the Carman Elementary School and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. Your kindness and prayers were greatly appreciated by all of us. A Catholic Funeral Mass will be held from the Friends Community Church in Carman, on Monday, July 18 at 1:30 p.m. with family friend, Fr. Edward S. Kosa O.M.I. officiating. Interment will follow at a later date in the All Saints Cemetery, Winnipeg, MB. Memorial donations may be made to the Jennifer Hebel Memorial Fund , in care of CIBC, Box 40, Carman, MB R0G 0J0, proceeds will be distributed to the Carman Memorial Hospital by the family. Doyle's Funeral Chapel in care of arrangements.
