EDOUARD LACROIX After a life filled with humanity and dedicated to family and friends, Edouard passed away peacefully on July 14, 2005 in the arms of his Angele at the age of 82. Mom and Dad were to celebrate their 59th Wedding Anniversary this coming September. He leaves to mourn eight children, Ron (Vicki), Guy (Agathe), Julien (Lilliane), Pauline (Phil), Joanne (Don), Lise (Ted), Roger (Huguette), Aline (Gilles); brother Romeo; sister Lorraine; and sisters-in-law, Annette, Fran, Laurette, Fernande and Jeanne. Also missing pepere are 22 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Edouard was predeceased by his parents, Thomas and Anna; brothers, Gustave, Theogene, Ludovic (Louis), Leonel, Maurice and Albert; sisters, Adrienne, Armelle and Therese and grandson Daniel. Born on April 18, 1923, Dad lived his whole life in Ile-des-Chenes, MB. After retiring from a long career with the CNR, Dad and Mom enjoyed many happy years and trips together. Dad was a special person who will be remembered for what he did and for whom he was. He was a loving and caring man who took pride in his family and community. He was very hard working but always found time for humour, good music and the company of others. Dad's legacy to us are the values that he has shared through his solid example and modelling. As a father, grandfather and friend, they did not come any better than him. We miss him dearly already. Funeral Mass will be celebrated by Fr. Edmond Baril at the Notre-Dame-de-la Misericorde Roman Catholic Church in Ile-des-Chenes, MB on Monday, July 18 at 11:00 a.m. Viewing will begin at 10:30 a.m. The service will terminate at the church and cremation will follow. Interment of Edouard's cremated remains will take place in the Ile-des-Chenes Parish Cemetery the following day. LECLAIRE BROTHERS in care of arrangements. 775-2220
