SAMANTHA LYNN MURDOCK "FIFI" It is with great sadness and sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of Samantha "Fifi" Lynn Murdock of Fisher River Cree Nation. She was born on October 1, 1968 and passed away on July 15, 2005 at the age of 36 years. Samantha is survived by her children, sons, Clarence, Adrian, Lindsey, Tad and Sean; her daughters, Tamara, Sabrina and Shawna; her father Harvey Murdock (Arlene); her mother Violet O'Meara; her grandmother Libby Murdock; her stepsister Jennifer (Warren); her stepbrothers, Cory (Sonya) and Alvin; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; also special friend, Margo Lavoie who was like a mother to her. Samantha was predeceased by two daughters in infancy; her grandfather Alex Murdock in 1988 and by her special aunt, Corrine Murdock in 2003. Fifi was raised in Fisher River up until she left and spent the rest of her life in Winnipeg. While living in Winnipeg she obtained certificates as a life guard and hairdresser. A wake service will be held on Monday at 7:00 p.m. at the Bread of Life Ministry, 1338 Main St., Winnipeg. A wake service will also be held on Tuesday at 8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. Both of these services will be held at the Steven's Memorial United Church, Fisher River, MB.
