ISABEL JOSEPHINE MCKEEHAN (nee LEMAY) Peacefully, in the presence of loving family, Isabel passed away on July 17, 2005, at Riverview Health Centre. Predeceased by her husband Prent in 1970, her sisters Deliah and Jennie, brother Ernest and grandson-in-law Glen Kohut. She will be lovingly missed by her daughter Inez (Gordie) Stratton and sons, Brian (Nancy) McKeehan and Gary McKeehan; grandchildren Sandee (Mike) Deck, Sheri (Grant) Johnson, Shannon (Bruce) McMurrich, Samantha (Tony) Michaluk; Brian Jr. McKeehan; Luke and Sophie McKeehan; great grandchildren Dustin, Devon and Danielle Deck; Jennifer and Matthew Johnson; Joshua and Jessica Kohut; Maggie and Brady Michaluk. Isabel (our beautiful brown eyes) was born in Montreal. She met her husband Prent in Montreal. Together they moved to Winnipeg where they raised their three children. Isabel loved hairdressing, swimming and knitting. She was employed with Sears, then Hudson's Bay until her retirement. Mom's greatest joy was joining in family occasions. The pride GG had for her grand and great grand children was endless. She loved taking long walks and enjoyed her dogs Blackie, Heidi and Rene. She enjoyed traveling to visit with many family and friends. The family extends special thanks for the love and care of their beautiful sunshine girl to all the nurses and staff on 2-west at Riverview. Your care and compassion was greatly appreciated. Funeral mass will be held at John XXIII - Assiniboia Christian Centre, 3390 Portage Ave., on Wednesday July 20, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. with Msgr. Maurice Comeault. Interment will follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, 4000 Portage Ave. Pallbearers will be Brian Sr. McKeehan, Brian Jr. McKeehan, Mike Deck, Grant Johnson, Tony Michaluk and Bruce McMurrich. Reception to follow in lower level of John XXIII. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Isabel's memory to Riverview Health Centre, 1 Morley Ave., Wpg., MB R3L 2P4 or Winnipeg Humane Society, 5 Kent St. Wpg., MB R2L 1X3 Arrangements entrusted to: CHAPEL LAWN FUNERAL HOME CREMATION AND RECEPTION CENTRE 885-9715
