PAULINE LASCHUK Pauline Laschuk passed away peacefully with family by her side at Park Manor Personal Care Home on Sunday, July 17, 2005 in her 95th year. She was born in Cooks Creek and later moved to Winnipeg. Pauline was predeceased by her husband Joseph; son Peter and sons-in-law, Walter Halipchuk, John Harper and Glen Grapentine. She was also predeceased by her parents, her brothers, Tony, Bill and Joe and her sister, Anne. She will be sadly missed by her daughters, Stella Halipchuk, Helen Harper and Florence Grapentine; her sister, Mary Dolchuk; her grandchildren, Merlin (Brenda) Halipchuk, Barry (Cari) Halipchuk, Rick (Cathy) Halipchuk, Walt (Kristine) Halipchuk, Robert Harper, Kim (Murray) Rusk, Glenda Sobie, Kathy (Jeff) Jones, Susan (Norm) Mohr, Sharon (John) Olbert, Blaine Laschuk, Cindy (Ed) Lowen. She will also be missed by her great-grandchildren, Kevin and Steve Halipchuk, Ashley and Sara Halipchuk, Ozana Halipchuk, Julia and Rachel Halipchuk, Cheryl and Victoria Sobie, Riley and Carly Jones, Tyson and Evan Mohr, Colin Olbert, Brittany and Nicholas Rusk, Carly and Shelby Lowen. The family would like to thank the staff at Park Manor for the special care they provided the last five years. Divine Liturgy will be celebrated on Thursday, July 21 at 10:30 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Ukrainian Catholic Church, Cooks Creek, with Rev. Fr. Taras Kowch officiating. Interment to follow in the Parish Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Merlin, Barry, Rick and Kevin Halipchuk, Glenda Sobie and Kathy Jones. If friends so desire, donations may be made in Pauline's memory to Park Manor Personal Care Home or to a charity of one's choice.
