Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJUDITH SOBERING (nee DOERKSEN) Our mother went to be with the Lord, on Saturday, July 16, 2005. At 101 years she had lived a long and full life. Judith is reunited with her loving husband Andrew; and other predeceased family members including her father and mother, Henry and Katharina Doerksen, her five brothers and 11 sisters and one grandson, who passed away shortly after birth. Left to cherish Judith's memory are her three daughters and their families, Madeline (Clarence) Reimer, MaryAnn (Donald) Canfield and Margaret (Edgar) Reimer; eight grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Mother was very concerned about the spiritual welfare of her family. Her Christian faith was strong and real. Mother was very committed to missions and her local church. Judith was always hospitable, energetic and willing to help anyone in need. The family would like to express their appreciation for the loving care given our mother during her stay at the Golden Door and the Meadowood Manor. Flowers are gratefully declined. If friends so desire, donations in Judith's memory may be made to Union Gospel Mission or Back to the Bible. Viewing will be available at Klassen Funeral Home, 1897 Henderson Hwy. on Tuesday, July 19 between 7:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m., if friends and relatives so desire.
