Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWAYNE STEWART MAYTWAYASHING (Brown Thunderbird Man) With friends and family by his side, Stewart passed away peacefully at home in Winnipeg, MB, on July 16, 2005 at the age of 37 years. Stewart was born December 28, 1967 in Eriksdale, MB. He was a fun-loving person who had a good sense of humour with his jokes, his laughing and teasing. He liked drawing, he had a good spirit and could get along with everyone. Memories of Stewart will be cherished forever in our hearts. He leaves to mourn his mother Georgina and his step-dad Robert Lariviere; his father Roy Maytwayashing; his step-dad Bill of Winnipeg, MB who was there during his early years growing up and until the end; his sister Rachel (Clifford), three brothers Glen (Carla), Graham, and Kyle; special niece Devan, and nephew Warren; also step-sisters and step-brothers from the Lariviere and Anderson families; special friends Don of Ontario, and Andrew of Winnipeg; also many cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles from the Spence, Maytwayashing, Choken, Lariviere, Sutherland, Klassen, Mousseau, Roulette, Baptiste, Moar, Hanslip, Edwards, Paul and Desjarlais families; also many, many friends. A wake service will be held on Tuesday, July 19, 2005 beginning at 6:00 p.m. at his father Roy Maytwayashing's residence on Lake Manitoba First Nation. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 20 at St. Theresa Roman Catholic Church at 11:00 a.m. with Father Dominique Kerbrat officiating. Interment to follow in the Lake Manitoba Reserve Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Don, Andrew, Franklin, Darryl, Glen, and Herman. The family would like to thank the Palliative Care Program, especially Luz Allard, Central Health Services Caregivers, special RNs Marie and Lorraine, Dr. McQuarrie, Lake Manitoba Chief and Council, family and friends who have given so much support in our time of need - Thank You.
