GAIL D. GARNETT (nee MURPHY) Peacefully on July 19, 2005 with her family by her side, Gail succumbed to cancer at the age of 60. Gail was predeceased by her father Robert Lee, stepdad Walter Anderson and stepbrother Murray. She is survived by her husband Robert; sons, Darrin (Karen), David, Michael, Christopher; mother Margaret Anderson; brother Bob (Kaye); stepsister-in-law Diane and her stepnephew Keith; niece Robyn; nephew Ryan and great-niece Amber. Gail will be missed by her friends especially Joanna, her family and many others who call her Mum. Gail was a loving wife and mother. She was proud of her four sons. She loved knitting, playing bingo, VLT's and baking many batches of cookies for her kids and their friends to enjoy. The family would like to thank the nurses on the 5th floor Grace Hospital, Dr. P. Harris and staff at Grace Cancer, Radiology doctors, staff at Manitoba Cancer and Dr. Y. Kotecha, her family doctor, for the excellent care they gave. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 23 at 3:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to CancerCare Manitoba, ON1160-675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9.   • My dear Gail, Knowing you has definitely brought joy to my life as well as many others. Playing VLT's and razing BoB are some of my best memories. You will surely be missed by all who have had the privilege of knowing you. My thoughts and prayers are with Bob and the children during this diffuclt time.
