WILLIAM (BILL) EUGENE MCLEOD Peacefully on Monday, July 18, 2005 with his family by his side Bill passed away at the Health Sciences Centre. Bill was predeceased by his parents, Mac and Gwen McLeod; and his brothers, Roderick and Gordon. He is survived by his loving wife Dorothy; his two daughters, Karen (John) and Diane (Ken); his eight grandchildren, Reid, Darcie, Justin and Aaron Hanson and Brent, Braeden, Joel and Myles Genyk. He is also survived by his brother Hughie (Donna), sister-in-law Lee and his uncle Freeman, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Bill was born and raised in Windygates, MB. He married Dorothy Harrison from Killarney, MB and there-after moved to Winnipeg where they have resided ever since. Bill always worked in sales, starting with Guertin Bros. Paints and Devilbis of Canada Ltd. He later became partners with the Greenwood family at A.B.S. Warehouse. Bill was a member of Norwood Lodge No. 119 as well as the Khartum Temple of the Shrine (Motor Patrol Unit). He took a demit in 2000 due to ill health. Bill was an avid sports fan. He and Dorothy loved to travel and spent many winters in Texas. He will be greatly missed by his family and grandchildren whom he loved dearly. The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses in S.I.C.U at the Health Sciences Centre for their wonderful care. A memorial service will be held on Monday, July 25 at 1:00 p.m. in Thomson In the Park Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Blvd. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
