SAMUEL (SAM) HRAB August 7, 1922 - July 19, 2005 Peacefully, on Tuesday, July 19, 2005, at the Grace General Hospital, Sam passed away at the age of 82 years. He is survived by his loving wife Charlotte, of 58 years of marriage; daughters, Renate (Robert) and Carol; grandchildren, Gary (Maria), Debbie, Connie, Amanda (Dave) and Eddie; great-grandchildren, Renate and Natasha; as well as numerous family and friends. Sam was predeceased by his parents. In 1950, Sam immigrated to Canada and settled in Winnipeg. He worked at numerous jobs and later as a self-employed carpenter until his retirement. Sam's funeral service will be held on Monday, July 25 at 10:30 a.m. in Silver Heights United Church, 199 Garrioch Ave. (corner of Ness Avenue and Mount Royal Road). Our family wishes to thank the staff at the Grace General Hospital, as well as the staff at the Tuxedo Villa Nursing Home for the care they provided Sam. We'll all miss you and love you.
