RACHEL ABRAHAM Thursday morning, July 21, 2005, Rachel Abraham went home to be with the Lord. She is predeceased by her parents, Thomas and Eda Sinclair; her sister and brother-in-law, Sara and Moses Bird; her sister-in-law, Amelia Sinclair; brother-in-law Alexander Morrisseau and godson Richard Starr. She is survived by her brother, Rev. Andrew Sinclair; sister Annie Morrisseau; her son Mel and daughter-in-law Roberta Abraham. Also grandchildren, Melissa (Clarence), Marilyn and Marshall (Lindsay), four great-grandchildren, Destiny, Justice, Branden and Avery as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Rachel was a devoted servant of Jesus Christ for many, many years as a Lay Minister. Her Calling from the Lord was to teach Confirmation Classes, Sunday School, supported the Women's Auxiliary and the Vestry Committee. Her passion to serve God included her music ministry. Her children's choirs were shared not only in Church, but also in other events like banquets. Rachel's love relationship with God was based on her faithfulness, as she would partake in the Sunday Morning services doing a Reading, Laying on of hands prayers and serving in the Holy Eucharist Celebration. The family would like to express their most gracious gratitude to George M. Guimond Personal Care Home and the Pine Falls Hospital staff for their care and compassion for Rachel. Meegwetch!! Wake services will be held at the Anglican Christ Church at Sagkeeng First Nation. The funeral will be held Sunday, July 24 at 10:30 a.m. Rev. Richard and Nancy Bruyere will be officiating.
