VINCENZO AURITI 1940 - 2005 Suddenly on July 19, 2005, Vincenzo Auriti passed away. Vincenzo is survived by his beloved wife Gloria; and his children, Anita (Darrell), Lorenzo (Joanna) and granddaughter Arianna. He is also survived by his sister Maria (Luigi) in Italy. He was predeceased by his sister Consolina, brother Nicola Auriti, his mother Teresa and his father Angelosante. He will be missed by numerous other family members and friends. Vincenzo was a kind and loving man. He had a generous nature and was always willing to lend a hand. He was proud to be a professional bricklayer for 40 years. During that time he was involved in the creation of many beautiful structures in Winnipeg. He collected all different styles of bells with sounds so pure, calm and peaceful. Every time we hear a bell we will think of him. Viewing will take place Saturday, July 23 from 9:30 to 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Rosary Church, 510 River Ave., with Fr. Sam Argenziano officiating. Interment will follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, 4000 Portage Ave. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 193 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 2B7. When we have done all the work we were sent to Earth to do, We are allowed to shed our body, which imprisons our soul. Like a cocoon encloses the future butterfly. And when the time is right, we can let go of it and we will be free of pain, free of fears and worries, free as a very beautiful butterfly returning home to God. Arrangements entrusted to: CHAPEL LAWN FUNERAL HOME CREMATION AND RECEPTION CENTRE 885-9715 Family and friends are invited to sign the Book of Condolence at www.chapellawn.mb.ca
