DONALD WILLIAM MENNIE Donald William Mennie, of Hamiota, MB, passed away on Wednesday, July 20, 2005, at the Hamiota District Health Centre, Hamiota, at 75 years of age. Don is lovingly remembered by Doreen, his wife of 52 years; daughters, Cheryl (Doug), Val; and his granddaughters, Ainslie and Susan. He is also remembered by his stepmother Mildred; brothers, Bill (Dot) of Scotland, Larry, Lloyd (Barb), John Edwards (Anne); and numerous nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by his mother Lillian, father William; and brother Norman. A service to celebrate his life will be held on Monday, July 25 at the Hamiota District Sports Complex, Hamiota, at 2:00 p.m. with interment following in the Hamiota Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Don's memory to CancerCare Manitoba, P.O. Box 2248, Stn. Main, Winnipeg, MB R3C 9Z9, or to the Hamiota Lions Club, Box 1, Hamiota, MB R0M 0T0.
