ASHLEY MARGARET COATES Ashley Margaret Coates was born in Carman, MB on July 7, 1997. She passed away on July 19, 2005 in Regina as a result of a motor vehicle accident. Ashley was a very athletic child who enjoyed swimming, soccer and various other sports. She also enjoyed attending Brownies. Ashley enjoyed school and would have been starting grade three at Brunswick School this fall where she loved spending time with her friends. Her family was a very big part of her life from biking with her sister Chelsea to picking wild flowers and bird watching with her grandpa. Ashley was a very special girl and will be tremendously missed by her family and her many friends. Ashley was predeceased by her grandfather Murray Coates, and her father Michael Coates. She is survived by her mother Tara; sister Chelsea; grandparents, Carol and Andy Everton and Auntie Tracy and uncle Brent Rolland all of Melfort and great-grandmother Anna Hoag (Granny) of Bengough, SK and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins from the Bengough area. She is also survived by numerous family members on the Coates side of the family from Carman, MB. A memorial service for Ashley will be held from the Brunswick Elementary School Gymnasium, Melfort, SK on Tuesday, August 2 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Rojar Singh officiating. The interment will take place at a later date in Bengough, SK. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Fedusiak Funeral Chapel Crematorium of Melfort, Saskatchewan. (306) 752-3838.
