Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryBLANDE ANNETTE MATTHEWS (nee LABOSSIERE) May 9,1918 - June 21, 2005 After a lengthy illness has sadly passed away. She is predeceased by her husband Jack, parents, sister, brothers and a grandson. Our loving Mother, Grandmother and Great-grandmother will be dearly missed by Don (Jan) Matthews, Edith (David) Booth, Joan (Ken) Picon, seven grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, four sisters, three brothers and numerous nieces and nephews. Blande was a dedicated teacher in St.Vital for many years, travelled extensively and lived life with enthusiasm, kindness and conviction. She displayed a fine strong character with good values, a deep devotion to family and an abiding love of God. Her family wishes to thank the kind and caring staff of Centre Tache. A funeral mass will be held at St. Emile Church on 552 St. Anne's Rd. at Sterling Avenue on Monday, July 25 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made if one wishes to Alzheimer's Society of Manitoba, 120 Donald Street, Winnipeg, R3G 4G2.
