ALYCE LILLIAN SIMPSON Peacefully on July 22, 2005 at the Health Sciences Centre, Alice passed away after a brief illness. Born in Brandon, MB on June 9, 1919, Alyce was one of eight children. She graduated from the University of Manitoba with a degree in Home Economics in 1940. Married in 1942, she and Norman spent 58 wonderful years together. Alyce was an active member of St. Andrews United Church and the St. Johns Childrens' Hospital Guild. More importantly, she was a fabulous home maker and a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Predeceased by her husband Norman in 2000, she is survived by her son Graham (Lola) of Delta, BC; daughter Marilyn (George) of Brandon; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Memorial service will be held at Thomson Funeral Home, 669 Broadway on Wednesday, July 27 at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in Alyce's memory may be made to CancerCare Manitoba, P.O.
