Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryIRENE LUCY HELGASON It is with great sorrow we announce the passing Irene Helgason on July 21, 2005 at the Victoria General Hospital at the age of 77 years. Irene is survived by her sons, Allan (Rita) and Greg (Laurie); grandchildren, Rob and Katie; sister-in-law Alice. She was predeceased by her husband Leo in 1993, son Garry in April 2005 and brother George. Irene was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who was devoted to her family. She was born in Fort Whyte and raised her three sons in Winnipeg. She enjoyed playing bingo and spending time with her seniors group. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends. The family would like to thank Dr. Singer and the staff of the Victoria General Hospital for their care and compassion. Funeral service 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 26 at Bardal Funeral Chapel, 843 Sherbrook St. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
