THOMAS VALENTINE DUNCAN Suddenly on Friday, July 22, 2005 at the Grace Hospital, Thomas Duncan passed away at the age of 68 years. Tom is survived by his wife Laura; sons, Thomas Jr., Bruce (Donna); daughters, Heather (Dave), Shannon (Mel) and Christine (Walter). Also left are his five grandchildren, Nicholas, Ian, Alexandra, Thomas (TJ) and Kelsey; two sisters, Barb Robson and Joyce Muir and their families; as well as two brothers-in-law and two sisters-in-law and their families. Tom was employed by the T. Eaton Company, Beaver Lumber and the City of Winnipeg (Parks and Recreation) from which he retired in 2002. Tom was past-president of the Charleswood Legion Branch No. 100. He enjoyed curling, golf and snooker with his many comrades and friends. His family truly loved him and will miss his dearly. A service of remembrance will be held Wednesday, July 27 at 2:00 p.m. at the Charleswood Legion, 6003 Roblin Blvd., Winnipeg. In lieu of flowers, donations many be made to The Winnipeg Humane Society, 5 Kent St., Winnipeg, R2L 1X3 or to the Cerebral Palsy Association of Manitoba, 1060 Ellice Ave., Winnipeg, R3G 0C9.
