She is much loved and will be sadly missed by her children, Onalee Slobogian (Brian), Maureen Maciesza, Fred Crampton (Heather), Susanne Crampton and W.T. (Bill) Grogan (Louis); grandchildren, Joe Maciesza (Becca), Erin Slobogian, Brent Lafreniere (Jenn), Steven Maciesza, Reid, Andrea, Lauren and Kelly Crampton; and by her siblings, Enid Gibbings, Donna Freeman, June Newsom, Jim Thomson (Shirley) and MaryAnn Monkman as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Marion was predeceased by her sister Shirley Newsom, husband Walter Crampton, husband W.E. (Bud) Grogan, son Robert Crampton, grandson Trevor Slobogian and by son-in-law Tony Maciesza. Marion was born and raised in Miami. She served in the Royal Canadian Air Force on the west coast of Canada and in England during the Second World War. After the war she was married and lived in the Altamont area, had five children and was widowed at a young age. For several years Marion raised her children on her own while continuing to farm and drove the school bus. She remarried and had another child and later moved to the Treherne area. Marion's life was centred on her family and she enjoyed many artistic endeavours as well as flower gardening on the farm. On Wednesday, July 27 at 2:00 p.m., Marion's funeral service will be held in the Atlantic-Garden City United Church, 725 Atlantic Ave. with Rev. Paul Peters Derry officiating. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Marion's memory to the charitable organization of your choice. WOJCIK'S ALL BELIEFS FAITHS FUNERAL CHAPEL CREMATORIUM 897 - 4665
