KYLE ROBERT YEO Tragically on July 22, 2005, our beloved son Kyle passed away at the Health Sciences Centre. Kyle was born on September 10, 1985, in Winnipeg. Kyle was predeceased by his Grandpa C.S. Yeo (Bob, 1986); his Grandma Noreen DeBolt (1992); and his aunt Doris Lambkin (1996). Kyle is survived by his parents, Debbie and Barry; his sister Leanne (Scott); his nanny Arlene Yeo; his Grandad Howard DeBolt (Louise); his uncles, Clay DeBolt, Bob Anderson, Don Lambkin and family (Belmont), Dale Yeo (Pentiction) (Andrea, Samantha, Carli); his aunts, Wilma Bahm (Ninette) (Pam (Cody) Jason, Cameron), Trudy Ramsden (Kayla, Kally), Joyce Erickson (Jim) and family, Lynne Robilard (Bruce) and family. Kyle will also be missed by his good friends, Matt Goddard, Vince Ferlaino, Brodie Venn, Mark Malahias, Pam Byman and many others. Kyle was a very happy, friendly, outgoing individual who could always bring a smile to the people around him. Kyle would never hesitate to offer his help to family and friends. Kyle attended Isaac Brock School, Arthur A. Leach and graduated from Vincent Massey Collegiate (2003). Kyle participated in hockey at a young age but his love and passion was soccer. Kyle played premiere soccer where he made many friends. Most recently Kyle was playing with a team called the Rowdies with The Manitoba Men's Soccer League. He also spent many hours playing his other love which was video games, as well as listening to music. Kyle also loved driving and had a passion for cars. Kyle worked a number of years at Canad Inns Fort Garry. In 2003 Kyle had the opportunity to meet and work for Gord Taylor (Kyle's Mentor). Besides being Kyle's boss, Gord was also a very close friend. During Kyle's time at GT Shelters, Gord took Kyle under his wing teaching him many tricks of the trade. The family would like to express their sincere thanks to the Health Sciences Centre ER and Surgical Intensive Care Unit, Dr. Kolwalski, Dr. Stephen Berrington and nurses Rob and Cody, as well as all other staff. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba, 675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9, or The Heart and Stroke Foundation, 200 - 6 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3L 0K6. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 27 at 3:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. Honorary pallbearers will be Matt Goddard, Vince Ferlaino, Brodie Venn, Mark Malahias and Gord Taylor. The depths of sorrow we cannot tell, Of the loss of one we loved so well; And while He sleeps a peaceful sleep, His memory we shall always keep.
