Mom lived in North Kildonan all her life raising her family here. She attended Lord Kitchner School now John Pritchard School. All her children and grandchildren attended the same school with Trenton still there. Mom, Lottie to those who knew her, enjoyed many years out at Lee River when her children were youngsters. When her children were grown, Mom and Dad eventually graduated to long vacations in Hawaii yearly since 1984. From 1954 to 1973 Lottie and her family ran Brooklyns Speedway. Mom loved every minute of it. When the kids were young Mom took in children to baby-sit so she could be home for her children, and do double duty as a dispatcher for Dad's Ambulance Service. Eventually the kids grew and Mom went to work for Brink's Canada retiring in 1998. In the years after her retirement Mom enjoyed spending time with her husband and all her beautiful grandchildren. Mom had a long and prosperous life with Dad just celebrating 56 years of marriage. Mom loved people, life, nature and her family immensely. Mom, tonight there's a new star in the sky, we know it's you! Always and forever. Love, your family.
