DANIEL HAUFF It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved father in the early hours on Monday, July 25, 2005. Dad was predeceased by our mother Edith, just a few short months ago. Left to mourn his passing are his children, Sandra Pember (Doug Franklin), Karen Loney, Tim Hauff (Sharon Shore), Elaine Alarie; granddaughters, Kristen Pember, Kaitlynn Alarie and Courtney Loney. He will also be sadly missed by his sister Christine Sudak; sister and brother-in-laws, Anita and Larry Murphy, Ruth and Fred Wojnowski, Agnes Warner and many nieces, nephews, good friends and neighbours. Dad had dealt with the unfortunate circumstance of contracting polio when he was a young vibrant man of 34 years. Throughout the remainder of his long life, he never let this disease stop him from being an ever caring father and a providing husband. Dad, you will live in our hearts forever and may you now be walking through heaven's gates with your beloved Edith at your side. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 28 at 3:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Danny's memory to the Manitoba Heart and Stroke Foundation, 200-6 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3L 0K6. Arrangements entrusted to: CHAPEL LAWN FUNERAL HOME CREMATION AND RECEPTION CENTRE 885-9715 Family and friends are invited to sign the Book of Condolence at www.chapellawn.mb.ca

Sandy, Karen, Tim, Elaine and families, my thoughts and prayers are with you all during this difficult time. Danny was a good friend to all and I enjoyed the times spent with him and Edie. Coming back to Winnipeg will always be hard because two of my closest friends won't be there, but we will meet again my friends. Rest in the arms of Jesus. Uncle Dan is a man that will always be in my heart. He was someone that when ever I thought about him, nothing but good memories and fun times came to mind. You will never be forgotten. - Posted by: Liza Richter (Family) on: Jul 27, 2005
