MATILDA EMILY GARLINSKI (nee TOKAR) Matilda Garlinski passed away on July 24, 2005 at the Grandview General Hospital at the age of 71 years. She was predeceased by her husband Mike in 2000. She is survived by her children, Eugene (Marian) Garlinski, Tom (Linda) Garlinski, Joyce (Vince) Kwiatkowski; her grandchildren, Edward Garlinski, Tim (Charlotte) Garlinski, Catherine (Kirk) Thompson, Michelle (Desi) Marinelli, Curtis Garlinski, Angela (Ken) Kotyk, Teren (Amber) Garlinski and her great-grandchildren Garett, Kieran, Tyrene, Madison and Emma. Mom/Grandma/Great-Grandma was a wonderful person and her greatest joy in life was her family. It is at this point in time that we understand the words it is not how you die, but how you have lived. Thank you to the staff at the Grandview General Hospital for the wonderful care that she received. Cremation has taken place. A graveside service will take place at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, July 29, 2005 at the Riverside Cemetery in Dauphin, Manitoba. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba.
