Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryELIZA CHRISTINA JONASSON (nee DEMERAIS) Eliza Christina Jonasson (nee Demerais) passed away peacefully at the McCreary/Alonsa Health Centre on Monday, July 25, 2005, with her family at her side. She was born in Silver Ridge, MB to Allan and Julia Demerais (nee Ducharme) on July 29, 1910. She married Thorstein (Steini) Jonasson in 1939. She was predeceased by her parents, her son Frederick, sister Ruby and brothers, Lloyd and Harry. She leaves to mourn her brother Lawrence Demerais, sister Bella Blanchard, children Paulina (Ed) Turko of Alonsa, Allan (Velma) Jonasson of Dauphin, John (Diana) Jonasson of Brandon, Seini (Linda) Jonasson of Portage la Prairie and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held at the Alonsa Community Centre in Alonsa on Thursday, July 28 at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow at the St. James Anglican Cemetery in Bluff Creek. Dobchuk-Anderson Funeral Home of McCreary is in care of arrangements. Telephone 835-2004.
