DAVID VENSON BROWN On Sunday, July 24, 2005, David Venson Brown passed away in Winnipeg, at the Health Sciences Centre's MICU, after a long struggle with Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis and complications from a right lung transplant in late October, 2004, at the age of 52 years. David will be lovingly remembered by his partner, Linda Draper; their dogs, Karly, Skeezers, Mollie, Shadow; their cats, Smudge, Philoneious, Charlie, Geyzer, and Amber plus all of his friends. David was predeceased by his mother, Helen (Madam Red) Davis, his grandmother and his aunt. Special thanks go to the GH6 Ward Staff, the Respiratory Clinic, and the Lung Transplant team at the Health Sciences Centre, the 2-East Ward at Riverview Health Centre, Dr. Z. Bshouty, Anne Szabo, and Dr. W. Kepron for the care and attention given to David. Funeral service will be held at Green Acres Funeral Chapel, Hwy. No. 1 East at Navin Road on Saturday, July 30 with visitation at 1:00 p.m. and funeral service at 1:30 p.m. A reception will follow. Interment will be done at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to any Animal Rescue Society and the Manitoba Lung Foundation. To honour David please sign your Organ Donor Card. It extended his life, it may extend yours.
