LILIANE WILCOTT (nee ALARIE) August 5, 1928 - July 27, 2005 It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Liliane at the age of 76 years after a courageous battle with cancer. She went peacefully with her family by her side at the Victoria General Hospital in Winnipeg, MB on Wednesday, July 27. Liliane will be lovingly remembered by her husband Sebastien (Jack) whom she married on June 2, 1956; and her children, Louise (Kevin), Guy (Dawn-Heather) and Denise (Chris). Her grandsons, Richard, Shayne, Rheal, Dwayne, Garth and granddaughter Bobbie-Jo will miss grandma. Her siblings, Pat, Leo (Therese), Henri (Rachelle), Paul, Yvonne Dupont, Rita (Reginald) Bernardin, and sister-in-law Renee and brother-in-law Gilbert survive her. She is now reunited with her parents, Wilfred and Eugenie Alarie; her sisters, Dinah, Eva, baby Yvonne; and brothers, Orius, Ulderic and Robert. Liliane was born on the family farm two and a half miles from Elie, MB on August 5, 1928. She lived most of her married years in St. Norbert. Liliane enriched the lives of her family with her strong work ethics and family values that came from her farm upbringing. The family was spoiled with her large garden and her extensive canning of vegetables and fruits. The kids will always remember her Christmas baking and her strong household management skills. The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, August 3, at St. Vital Parish, 1629 Pembina Hwy. at 11:00 a.m. Viewing before the Mass. Interment will follow. The Wilcott family wishes to express their thanks and appreciation to family and friends for their support; and to the staff of Victoria Hospital for their dedicated service in the past months. Special thanks to Wendy at the Victoria Hospital for extra TLC and support. And also thanks to Elsa for her help when Liliane was home. If friends so desire, donations may be made in Liliane's name to CancerCare Manitoba. Arrangements entrusted to: Voyage Funeral Home and Crematorium 1531 Pembina Hwy. 284-7500
