URSULA FRITSCH Surrounded by her family on Thursday, July 28, 2005, Ursula Fritsch passed away at the Grace Hospital, at the age of 76 years. Ursula will be greatly missed by her children, William (Cathy), Eva (Bryan), Anita (Blake), Lena, Lillian, Maria (Phil), Olle (Malina) and Elisabeth (Dave); grandchildren, Kristian, Brynn, Arlene, Nils, Thomas, Treena, Tracy, Robert, Olivia, Everett, Selena, Sven, Alexander, Willie and Alex; great-grandchildren, Austin, Matthius, Ayden, Erika, Kyle, Grahame, Daniel, Aliyah and Angelina. She was born in Germany December 7, 1928, and immigrated to Sweden during the war at a young age. Ursula lived for a number of years in Goteborg and was married in June of 1947 to Olof Fritsch. They had seven children. As the wife of a military pilot, Ursula came to Canada in 1957 with her children. After having her eighth child in Gimli, the family moved to Portage la Prairie for a few years and finally settled in Winnipeg. Ursula had lived in St. James ever since. Ursula was a straightforward spirit who made friends easily. She was strong and courageous and known in her younger days to love adventure. Her forte lay in sewing and knitting which assured that each child, grandchild and great-grandchild wore or played with the result of her talent. Ursula was a good friend to many at Siniwak Bay. She helped out formally and informally with functions and day to day life. A private family gathering to honour Ursula's life will be held on Tuesday, August 2. In lieu of flowers, donations in Ursula's memory may be made to CancerCare Manitoba, 675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9. Var sota lilla mama Vi alskar dig nu och alltid.
