FRIEDA OLGA BUCHHOLZ (nee DREWLO) Passed away at the Concordia Hospital on Friday, July 29, 2005 at the age of 77 years. Predeceased by husband Adolf in 1991 and son Wayne in 1976. Mom was born in the New Home District and farmed alongside Dad till 1975 when they moved into Moosehorn and jointly were employed by the Lake Shore School Division, driving school buses. In 1981 they moved to Winnipeg to be closer to their children and became caretakers of an apartment complex until their retirement in 1982. In spite of her health problems, Mom always remained positive, patient and took a great interest in the lives of her children and grandchildren. She eagerly looked forward to meeting with friends of the Peace Lutheran Church Seniors Group. She enjoyed many hours watching Blue Jays games and curling on T.V. Mom will always be remembered and greatly missed by her families, Glen (Carol), Leonard (Janice), Valerie (Bruce) and Devon. Grandchildren, Greg, (Karyn), Coreen (Patrick), Clinton (Chris), Lindsay (Trevor), Jeremy, Mark, and Shaunna. Great-grandchildren, Taylor and Emma. Frieda is also survived by brothers, Ernie (Blanche), Harold (Lorna); sisters-in-law, Evelyn Drewlo, Eva Drewlo, Phyllis Drewlo, Hannnah Bauch and numerous nieces and nephews. A celebration of her life will be held on Wednesday, August 3 at 10:00 a.m. at the Peace Lutheran Church, 350 Gilmore Ave. Winnipeg. Viewing will be held one-half hour prior to service. Interment will follow with a graveside service in Peace Lutheran cemetery in Moosehorn, MB at 2:30 p.m. The family would like to express their great appreciation to all the care givers on the 3rd floor east at the Concordia Hospital and also to the homecare workers. If friends so desire they can make a charitable donation to the Peace Lutheran Church Memorial Fund.
