Many will mourn his passing, including his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, as well as many treasured friends of Jerry and Mary. Jerry and Mary's families were members of the St. Paul's United Church in Winnipeg, which resulted in their meeting when they were 17 and 15 years old respectively. Their young relationship developed into love and eventually marriage in September of 1939. Jerry was working at the G. McLean Co., where his career spanned 27 years.
