ROBERT BELL Peacefully, on Sunday, July 31, 2005 Robert Allen Bell passed away at the Pembina Manitou Health Centre at the age of 94. Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 65 years, Hazel (nee Prior), two daughters, Judy (Grant) Orchard, and Donna (Jim) Moreton; five grandchildren, Rob (Karen) Orchard, Mike (Rachelle) Orchard, Ang (Marc) Grenier, Carolyn Moreton (Jeff) and Rick Moreton; also five great-grandchildren, Braden, Chad, Taylor, Shelby and Branson, one sister, Marion (Bill) Goodwin, sister-in-law, Bea Bell, and one brother-in-law, Rowland (Margaret) Del Bigio. Robbie was born October 28, 1910 at Lundar, MB and moved to Miami, MB in 1919. He lived on the home farm for 82 years, retiring from farming in 1985. He drove a school bus from 1953 to 1970. Robbie was an avid curler, enjoyed many trips across Canada to watch the Silver Broom Championships and was a honorary member of the Miami Curling Club. He enjoyed fishing, boating, camping, golfing and loved to socialize with friends. He also enjoyed the regular coffee party with his family every Sunday. To honor Robbie's wishes, a private graveside memorial service will be held Wednesday, August 3, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. at the Miami Cemetery. Everyone is invited to attend a reception at the Miami Friendship Centre, Wednesday, August 3 at 10:30 a.m. Our family wishes to express heartfelt appreciation to the caring home care workers in Miami and the compassionate staff at the Pembina Manitou Health Centre for the excellent care given to Robbie in the last few years.
